Today was the annual St. Louis Mardi Gras party and naturally, I waited until the last minute before I had to whip something together and get out the door. They turned out great though!
Ingredients:
- brownie mix (and all the ingredients it calls for)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Make brownie mix as directed.
- Pour batter into a pan lined with parchment paper.
- Mix together butter, powdered sugar, peanut butter, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drop tablespoons of peanut butter mixture randomly all over the brownie batter.
- With a butter knife, swirl from each drop until it looks pretty.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
- Cool completely before cutting.
