Peanut Butter Swirl Brownie

Today was the annual St. Louis Mardi Gras party and naturally, I waited until the last minute before I had to whip something together and get out the door. They turned out great though!

Ingredients:
  • brownie mix (and all the ingredients it calls for)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Make brownie mix as directed.
  3. Pour batter into a pan lined with parchment paper.
  4. Mix together butter, powdered sugar, peanut butter, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Drop tablespoons of peanut butter mixture randomly all over the brownie batter.
  6. With a butter knife, swirl from each drop until it looks pretty.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Cool completely before cutting.

Ta da!
